ce - reduce inflammation and take resulting heat away, also a good pain killer.
ompression - prevent excess build up of swelling which congests the area and slows blood flow, therey, slowing repair.
levation - increase the return of blood to the heart, taking swelling and waste-products from the repair away from the area.
